Questions

The ones that actually get asked

Will the fonts stay as I chose them?: Yes, and that is why a PDF is made: the layout is settled at conversion, not at the recipient.
What about comments and tracked changes?: They stop being interactive. Accept them or move them into the body if they are meant to arrive.
Does Excel convert too?: Yes, and so does PowerPoint. With spreadsheets, set the print area first.
Does the file go to a server?: Yes, this is a server conversion. The page tools upload nothing.
How long is the download window?: Sixty minutes from the end of processing.
When does the cost begin?: At the download. The first 7 days are an intro price, after which it is monthly or annual.
